We had a fantastic stay at Ilha Hostel & Suites! the facilities are top, notch, resembling a fancy hotel rather than a hostel. the capsule, style beds provide privacy, and the curtains and compartments ensure a peaceful sleep. the staff, particularly Helena and Patricia, were friendly and attentive. the common areas, including the kitchen and cozy rooms, offered a welcoming atmosphere. the cleanliness was impeccable, with towels changed daily and soap and hairdryer provided. the central location, just a 5, minute walk from the port, made exploring the area convenient. We would 100% recommend this gemstone of a hostel!

I had a great experience and would highly recommend this place to anyone visiting Ponta Delgada.

Shower drainage was a bit of an issue, but the staff handled it promptly. The dorm room bathroom door didn't close properly, so no privacy.

The best aspects of my xmas stay were the clean and comfortable dorm rooms. The bunkbed pods provided a cozy and protected space within the shared room, and the beds were designed in a way that made me feel like I had my own little room. The staff were also very kind and welcoming, making me feel right at home. Plus, the breakfast offered a good variety of options to choose from.

The worst aspect of my stay was the check-in process. When I arrived at 2:30, there was no staff present and I had to rely on a code sent via email to enter the facility and my room.

The room setup was comfortable, with a thermostat to control the temperature. The staff were easy to communicate with and provided helpful information on check-in and parking. The breakfast was fantastic, always freshly prepared with a variety of options. a clean and quiet place to stay.

We had a great stay at a hostel in Ponta Delgada. The staff was extremely friendly and always ready to assist us. The location was perfect for catching local buses and exploring the surrounding towns. The breakfast buffet offered a wide variety of delicious options. We especially enjoyed the privacy provided by the curtains on the bunk beds in the female dorm. The hostel was also within walking distance of the local Holy Ghost festival, allowing us to experience the festivities. I highly recommend this hostel for its excellent staff, convenient location, and comfortable amenities.

There were a couple of minor drawbacks during our stay. Some guests took a long time in the shared bathroom, which was a bit inconvenient.
